Background
Operations Director of CPMG Architects, David joined Crampin and Pring in 1983. David specialises in design co-ordination and contract administration on major projects. His outside interests have included serving as a Governor for Chilwell Comprehensive School, where he chaired the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

· Project Co-ordinator for £17.6m new campus for Bilborough Sixth Form College, Nottingham.
· Project Co-ordinator for the redevelopment of Broxtowe College, Nottingham.
· Project Architect for the conversion of the 10,000m² Grade II* listed Adams Building, Nottingham, to provide a city centre campus for New College Nottingham. The £16m project was a pathfinder in further education, combining major Heritage Lottery Fund support with PFI procurement.
· Project Co-ordinator for £1.6m refurbishment of Grade II* Listed Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham.
· Supervising Architect for £7.3m refurbishment of the Chemistry Department Dainton Building at University of Sheffield.
· Project Architect for new £5.0m Library, museum and art gallery for Rugby town centre.
· Supervising Architect for £1.2m extension and refurbishment of Nottingham Squash Club.

· Project Architect for the redevelopment and conversion of the former General Hospital, Nottingham in the Castle Conservation Area, as offices for Nottingham Health Authority and the creation of a major new public square. The project had a large ERDF grant.
· Project Architect for 3,300m² regional head office for Eversheds, Solicitors, at 1 Royal Standard Place in the Castle Conservation Area, Nottingham.
· Project Architect for the £8.0m redevelopment and conversion of the former Shipstones Brewery, Nottingham for a mixed use of housing, industrial units, offices and exhibition space. The project had substantial English Partnerships funding.
· Project Co-ordinator for the design and tender of 40,000m² of offices for Alliance and Leicester Building Society within mature grounds at Carlton Hayes, Leicester.
· Project Co-ordinator and concept designer for the re-modelling, extension and enclosure of Coopers Square, Burton on Trent, a 25,000 m² shopping centre.
· Project Architect for conversion of 3,000m² Grade II listed building for major retailer on Pelham Street, Nottingham.
Project Architect for 3,500m² department store for Next at Kensington High Street, London. The development was in a Conservation Area and received the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Design Award.
