Quality Assurance Policy Statement

CPMG Architects Limited is committed to the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the architectural service it provides to its clients.

To achieve this, CPMG Architects recognises that a Quality Management System is needed to ensure sound discipline for the process, increased confidence in effective working and reliability of service. It is therefore in the interests of both Client and Consultant.

The architectural service offered by the Practice involves a combination of design and management and is carried through by creative and professional people. At the same time it is recognised that even the most imaginative design concepts are of little use if they fail to meet the client’s requirements. Therefore, the Quality System will be applied sensitively and appropriately to suit the particular needs of the project. A “Project Quality Plan” will be put in place for each major commission undertaken by the Practice which will take into consideration the scale, complexity, budget and time constraints when these are identified. This is the CPMG Architects policy agreed by the Board of Directors.

The responsibility for ensuring that the CPMG Architects Quality System is implemented rests with the QA Director. He keeps the Board of Directors aware of the status and adequacy of the Company’s Quality System and makes recommendations for any policy changes. He also ensures that the system is audited regularly and that any non-compliance or ineffectiveness is corrected promptly.

The Practice is committed to the principle of external certification by an accredited authority to ensure the continuation of compliance with the requirements of BS: EN ISO 9000: 1994.
