Elective Orthopaedic Theatres, Nottingham City Hospital
The scheme is based on an investment of up to £13.7m from the NUH Trust Capital programme to develop four new orthopaedic operating theatres at the city campus and supporting infrastructure under the P21+ process.
As a result of the development, the number of cases can be increased by 1,293 per year. The facilities comprise four new operating theatres for orthopaedics, accommodation for sterile services storage and logistics, new theatre stores areas, admission and recovery areas for all the theatres in the main theatre block at city campus and the new elective orthopaedic build, and ancillary plant space.
