Hindle and Calibra, Nottingham

Hindle and Calibra is a four-storey residential development earmark for a brownfield site on the south side of Nottingham city centre.

The scheme is designed around a landscaped parking court, with 65 apartments in a mix of one bedroom and two bedroom units, all generously sized. The location offers some excellent views across the city skyline.

The building is to be clad in a buff brick, with a contrasting highly-glazed element set back from the wall line at top floor level. An interesting composition of ‘punched’ windows with deep reveals adds articulation to the facades, and ensures that all units benefit from a good level of daylighting.
