Moseley Primary School, Coventry

Commissioned in 2005 to design a £3.4m replacement facility for Moseley Primary School. An overall masterplan for the site, involving the introduction of a new community library and health centre, had been established by Coventry City Council, and CPMG worked within this to develop the school design.

The school was designed using the BREEAM schools environmental assessment scheme, and achieved the target score of ‘good’ by introducing technologies such as super-insulation, rainwater harvesting, natural ventilation, and a planted sedum roof. The project was completed in August 2006.
