Nottingham Guildhall Masterplan
CPMG led the masterplanning of an important site in Nottingham city centre, including the repair of the historic and listed Nottingham Guildhall and its conversion into a five star hotel complete with 130 bedrooms and a 750 seat conference centre. The project also includes a 21-storey tower containing 275,000 square foot of office space.
On one of the most important sites in Nottingham, our masterplan proposal illustrates how the site can be redeveloped to contain significant new development, whilst respecting the context and character of existing listed buildings on the site. It introduces new assets to the public realm such as active frontages with retail opportunities along a new pedestrian route from the city centre to Nottingham Trent University.
The Grade A office space has been designed to attract blue-chip companies and will be a catalyst for wider redevelopment of the surrounding area.
