CPMG is appointed by Narada Hotel Group to develop a new masterplan for the Inlong resort in Jiangsu province, China. Narada is one of the Top 20 hotel groups in China with 49 hotels and 14,176 guestrooms in nine provinces and cities across the country.
The new masterplan envisions a clifftop lakeside spa centre using natural hot water from an underground supply. The spa has extensive facilities including bars and restaurants, numerous therapy and treatment rooms and features the longest infinity pool in China.
A group of 37 villas sit in a clifftop lakeside location next to the spa centre. The larger villas take a novel approach to maximising views to the blue waters of the lake below by using a dramatic structural form which cantilevers out from the cliff edge with glass flooring offering views directly downwards to the blue waters of the lake.
