Superdrug, Clumber Street, Nottingham
Commissioned by Scottish Widows Plc to design a new large retail unit to replace two small and outdated shop units on the site. The opportunity was taken to extend the building to the rear creating the largest single floor shop unit on the street.
The unit was occupied immediately by Superdrug. Complex issues relating to right of way, rights of light, and archaeology linked to the caves beneath the site were overcome during the course of the development.
