Biosciences Breaks Ground
The erection of hoardings and a concrete frame at Nottingham’s BioSciences at Lower Parliament Street have heralded the building’s hotly anticipated construction beginning this month.
A contemporary and high-quality building for cutting edge bio-science and bio-chemistry research, this flagship facility contains high quality, flexible research space – which includes a mixture of laboratory, write-up and office areas. Additional areas for conference and meeting facilities, supporting the laboratory tenants, are provided at a ground floor level, including a small lecture theatre.
The project is a celebration of Nottingham’s rich bio-science history and will create a new gateway into the existing Bio-City Quarter, providing a fitting first node in the eastside development of the city.
