Business hub to boost Nottingham’s science status
Nottingham’s thriving Science Park will be home to a new £8m business hub building that will help drive inward investment into the city and create 200 highly-skilled jobs.
The striking new building that we have designed will provide office space for innovative science start-ups and expansion space for growing firms needing research and development facilities.
Featuring a large conference space designed for a range of events and seminars and a spacious café that is intended to act as a focus for the whole park, the Nottingham Science Park 2 building will boost commercial activity on the site and provide a central networking hub.
The building has been designed to complement the existing, colourful buildings on site, with a cantilevered upper floor providing an impressive focal feature at the entrance to the new building.
The site is located opposite the South entrance to the University of Nottingham and just across a newly constructed footbridge from the Boots Enterprise Zone, and it is already home to innovative companies driving cutting-edge technologies and developments.
We’re pleased to be working again with partners such as Gleeds, CPW and Curtins on such a prominent scheme on behalf of Nottingham City Council. CPMG was appointed by Perfect Circle, a consortium which delivers projects through the Scape National Built Environment Consultancy Services framework.
