Completed projects
Now open for business is this new leisure centre in Market Rasen built by Morgan Sindall. The facility includes a fitness studio, exercise studio, four court sports hall, café and external 3-G pitch. Consideration has been taken for future expansion including a 25m swimming pool.
The building is arranged over two storeys, with activity spaces on the upper floor providing scenic views across the site whilst the Café area is a double height space with a feature staircase adjacent to the entrance. The building footprint is compact making it efficient and maximising the area of the site available for other uses.
The Yard is an extension to the CPMG designed Hugh Aston Building, it provides additional learning resource space for DMU’s faculty of business and law, which comprises of the Leicester Castle Business School and the Leicester De Montfort Law School. The extension will allow the university to further develop its Business and Law School, as well as provide an inspiring working environment for students. Photo credit: DMU
One of many school projects we are currently working on with Bowmer&Kirkland, this project was handed over successfully at the end of August in time for the return to school and now enables the co-location of Bearsted Primary Academy with the Snowfields SEN Academy which provides education for children with secondary Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The layout maximises connectivity with outdoor spaces and includes a large sheltered courtyard space. Overlooking between the Academies is minimised and each is defined by a separate teaching wing. The schools have separate receptions and shared accommodation such as leadership offices and kitchens are located centrally.
