Alex Walker is a seasoned architect with over a decade of experience delivering impactful public sector projects across education, leisure, and research. Since joining CPMG in 2011, Alex has played a pivotal role in designing and delivering facilities for clients including the Department for Education, local authorities, further education colleges, and universities nationwide.
His portfolio spans a diverse range of projects from the £0.5m History Building Extension at the University of Nottingham to the £27.5m Maritime Academy in Kent, a DfE Zero Carbon Sustainability Pilot. Alex’s work consistently reflects a commitment to thoughtful design, technical excellence, and environmental performance, with many projects achieving BREEAM Excellent ratings and BIM Level 2 compliance.
Alex is deeply involved in every stage of the architectural process, from concept development and statutory compliance to construction detailing and on-site coordination.
