Architectural Assistant Part 2 | Nottingham
Stu is an Architectural Assistant in our Nottingham studio, with experience in the residential and education sectors. As a disabled person he is particularly interested in accessibility and inclusive environments, informed by personal experience and wider research.
Outside of architecture Stu is an avid reader with an interest in philosophy, history, art, and disability studies, typically finishing around 100 books a year. He volunteers his time supporting the Left Book Club, founding and facilitating the Nottingham reading group. He also sits on the Left Book Club Panel, selecting books for publication and distribution to subscribers around the world. In his spare time, he plays the piano and the ukulele (although not at the same time). He loves a good museum and enjoys reading the labels for every artefact on display, much to the annoyance of his partner.
