Project Overview

London’s Mayfair is now home to a discreet and luxurious auction showroom which specialises in luxury and rare goods such as pair of Beyoncé’s shoes or a Marussia Formula 1 grid car.

John Pye Auction’s Luxury Assets division set out to create an exceptional retail experience to support its growing department and asked our team to help bring the exciting brief to life.

Working closely with PPC, the fit-out specialist, balancing the freedom of the brief, a fixed budget, and a demanding programme, this showroom has been an excellent example of teamwork and collaborative working.

Now, we have a luxury assets base, befitting of its Mayfair location. Not only is it a destination for those seeking something special, but it has also become a desirable venue for special events and business networking gatherings. - Adam Pye, Managing Director at John Pye & Sons Ltd.

The spatial concept was carefully considered to ensure visitors to the showroom enjoy time, space and discretion to view, consider and purchase very special items. Only the finest quality detailing, components, finishes, key furniture and lighting pieces create this special ‘exhibition’ space.

The spatial arrangement, discreet and luxurious meeting environments and bespoke display elements respond primarily to the client experience but also to the wealth of assets auctioned here, such as valuable and rare gemstone collections. In future, rare art collections may also feature.
