We’ve worked closely with WPA on their expansion into the UK leisure and sports market, with premium venues already open adjacent to Notts County Football Club and Mansfield Town Football Club. More recently, we’ve been appointed on a newly announced facility next to Wigan Athletic’s DW Stadium – a further sign of padel’s growing popularity and its strong ties with the football world.

The game’s explosive global rise has been supported by sports icons like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Mo Salah, Pep Guardiola, and Jürgen Klopp – making it a perfect fit for football-linked venues.

Mansfield Padel Centre opened just a few months ago and features:

• Four covered courts protected by an innovative 10-metre-high canopy
• A modern clubhouse with reception, washrooms, and social spaces
• A dedicated Padel Store and Smash Coffee Shop
• Outdoor seating and social areas, encouraging community and connection
• Convenient online court booking via the Playtomic App

The custom canopy design allows natural light and ventilation while offering weather protection – supporting all-season play and enhancing the user experience.
